I've made sure that it is enabled on my taskbar but to no avail. I have read that it could be because my battery is not detected. If it is this, they say to remove and reinsert the battery while shut down. It'd be annoying to do this but I love this tool. Is this the way to go? Or am I just missing something?

P.S. A dell tech came by to replace my MoBo yesterday so he had to remove the battery, this could be it then. I'll wait for a response before I get my tools out. If only the M11x was a simple laptop with a slide out battery right?

Yeah my laptop was running last night unplugged while I was defragging. Hmmm I guess Ill unplug it and come back with the outcome. THanks for the response.

Edit: Went so far as to remove and reinstall the battery. And then I completely removed BB and installed it. To no avail.

Anyone have an alternative program that measures battery info?

i actually like the windows stock one personally. i consider it on point with time estamates. and i like the real time useage calculation. where battery bar just figures off your normal useage and sticks to that.

only thing i like battery bar for is the mw drainage meter and the % wear.

this. I was wondering for something with this. I am trying to create a plan for when I travel in 2 weeks so that I fall under 10,000 constantly to keep myself with enough juice for a trip.

    You could try Batterycare: BatteryCare

I personally don't think it is as good as battery bar but it does so mW discharge!

Indeed I have. Very weird. When its installed I can click the check box in the taskbar menu and the task bar seems to do a refresh but it doesnt show up. Weird thing is that it only just started happening. I dunno. BatteryCare, Radam's suggestion, works great though.
