    Hi there!

Finnaly I could put my battery to work correctly after a lot of work and reserch, and a lot of help of some nice guys from this forum. But I have just one question: my battery charge level keeps varying until it establish a stable level (for example, keeps varying between 4:10 and 5:20). And this happens including in iddle (altough in less scale).

Do your m11x R2 (or R1) do this thing too? Thanks.

BTW, if any of you guys have a battery problem, try to delete the game boosters, clean it's files, and do AlienRespawn (remember to make a backup). Its just great!

Windows (probably) uses instantaneous power usage to calculate run time. Not unusual for the time to vary. As long as the percentage of battery charge doesn't jump you should be fine.

An application for logged battery life is BatteryBar.

    Thanks namaiki!

But Battery Bar is working strangely on my notebook. It shows 2:30 of battery life while windows shows 5:xx. And my battery's name on Battery Bar is strange too. Before, was showing "Alienware ...", now it shows a lot of letters and numbers.

But good to know that this is normal.

A lot of things can vary the ETA of battery life. For example if Turbo Boost kicks in and that is factored into the variable but obviously Turbo Boost turns off and on so its not consistent. TB is just an example but Optimus does this as well. I think that may be what is causing the mis-calculated battery life times... But I feel as soon as the battery gets below 50% the times are much more accurate in how much you have left... which is usually 2 hours for me at 50%

Thanks dude, I'm a lot happier now. I understood this, and m11x is a little complicated beast.
