    Hi guys!

So i purchased ARMA II a few months back on steam and absolutley loved it, loved the editor, even got pretty good with it. Only problem is, i was held back by LAG and no matter how much i tried to optimize it it just ran like poop when i got into big battles. I know ARMA 1 had an amazing reputation and was wondering if i would be able to create big/massive battles in the editor without much Lag. If any of you have ARMA 1 on your m11x, can you let me know how it runs during big battles?

Also can anyone recommend ARMA 1 to me? is it as good or better than ARMA II?

    m11x r1/overclocked 1.73ghz/ 1gb Nivida Slightly overclocked/ 4gigs of RAM

It runs slightly more hitchy then ARMAII but it provides a better FPS (Not by miles like 10FPS). I recommend some other military simulation game. Like Operation Flashpoint perhaps? Anyone of the OFP games are good apart from Red River. OFP Dragon Rising has an editor. Do you know LUA scripting?
