Since the M11x R3 has been launched, I'd like to know how well ArmA 2 performs on the new i7 processor, since on the R2 it was barely playable mainly because of the processor. I ask this simply because it's the only game I have on the R2 that doesn't perform well, so if it goes any better with the R3 I'll definitely buy it.

It'll play similarly if it's CPU bottlenecked as the new i7 performs slightly worse then an overclocked R2 i7 @ 166 with TS.

So it would be better to go for the M14x then? Since it's a quad-core processor.
