Crossfire is a free fps from z8games.com, much like counter strike. If anyone plays it, can you tell me what your fps is? Mines like 80-100, which is still a big difference from 150-250..which i think i heard someone with the same laptop had.. idk for sure though. Any thoughts?

haha, i'm running it with the 335m, as far as i know. You can't edit the crossfire.exe in the whitelist for some reason, but you can edit the g4box.exe which is the game loader...i'm overclocked as well...to 150mhz.

bump pleaseeeee, also, randomly on the side: i'm getting jittery because i just went to ebay this morning, and i already found this guy selling his m17x with an ssd for $1,300 only $100 more than what i'm paying for my m11x i7....hah. I'm still making monthly payments so the laptop doesn't even feel like it's mine yet. Did i forget to mention that the m17x is also i7? :( seeing this makes my heart sink, because i've already signed a contract with the devil regarding my new laptop. lol

White listing the loader doesn't force the game to use the 335.

that's my concern. if i whitelist the game itself, it doesn't give me advanced graphics options, which isn't normal.

okie, the reason is coding style, cross fire is an old game, it's coded by old style, so it only uses 1 core of the CPU.
btw, your frames are higher than mine, mine is R1, I get 50-100 frames, depend on the map.

awhhhhh damn. one of my big hopes with getting this laptop was having in mind that it would blow this game up to like 200fps. i was so looking forward to ABSOLUTE smoothness. :( this makes me sad.
