I own a Sony 52" led/lcd TV wich has a refresh rate of 120hz (with 240hz automotion upscaling or something like that) and I have my M11x R1 hooked up to it with HDMI cable. When I go to the Nvidia control panel display resolution, under the HDTV setting I only get a 23hz, 24hz, 59hz and 60hz. Anyway to set this thing to 120hz since my HDTV can handle it?
Watching 1080p videos (batman trailer) on youtube definatly doesnt look 1080p, its noticably choppy and nothing like my standalone bluray player.
Any help appreciated!

The purpose of a 120Hz HDTV isn't to actually accept 120Hz input signals. The purpose of 120Hz is to solve an old problem in 60Hz TV's.
Movies are typically recorded in 24fps (24Hz). TV programming is typically recorded in 30fps (30Hz). When you play back a movie (24Hz) on a 60Hz display, you never get frame-for-frame drawing on the TV. There is always some kind of interpolation, which results in some slight blurring of the image. The purpose of a 120Hz TV is that 120 is the least common multiple (LCM) of both 30 and 24. You can play back 24fps or 30fps content on a 120Hz television without any kind of blurring from mismatched frame drawing rates.
Having said that, the M11x most likely does not output at true 120Hz. I don't have my M11x in front of me, but you can easily check by going to (right-click) Windows Desktop --> Screen Resolution --> Advanced Settings --> List All Display Modes. It will show all display modes that your GPU can display. Make sure that you have the Intel HD Graphics GPU selected.
Any way to set my gt335m to 120hz for my HDTV?
