I can tell you that WoW will run just fine. You can expect max details at native resolution (1366x768) to run at least 30fps - 50fps, depending on where you are in the game. You can increase these framerates by lowering the graphical detail level.

I have the Core i5 version, not the Core i3. But that difference is irrelevant. Almost all games are limited by the GPU power, not by the CPU speed. That means that the CPU clock speed difference between our two laptops will not matter. So you can expect the performance I get on my Core i5 M11x R2 to be nearly identical to the performance you get on your Core i3 M11x R2.

    i3 is 1.2GHz while the i5 is 1.06GHz.

The difference is the i5 can turbo upto 1.86GHz while the i3 has no turbo function.

I just have the R1 and it runs it very well - without overclocking. This is the first computer I have had that ran SecondLife well too! lol

Love this little laptop! (If we can avoid broken hinges I will be happy! :) )

Wow thats better than my desktop. I'd probably aim for the setting 1 below max so i can keep my fps up. Thats great i didn't know i would get the same performance as the i5. Thanks

With WoW we find it is the speed of your CPU is the limiting factor, it being mainly a single thread programme. So it would depend on how much the i3 will overclock.

Search the forum for the WoW performance thread... much discussion was had there.

Other games I would agree the GPU is the main factor.
