I think Im about to pull the trigger on a new M11x but keep coming across screens touching the keyboard threads and problems that go with it.. has anyone tried the anti glare screen protector with there M11x ? any draw backs dose it help with denting the panel? Im not that crazy about high gloss screens anyway so Im not worried about loosing a lil contrast..

No draw backs, it does help protect the panel, and I got extremely annoyed at this high gloss screen. I've had my fair share of glossy screens (DV2, M1210, 4820TG, N10j), but this is by far the worst.

No bars held. The [curse, strong] worst of any glossy screen. Others, I would have to strain to see my reflection in a dimly lit room. This, I can shave with if I just dim the backlight a bit.

And outside, if there is any sunlight, the screen becomes a *bit* harder to use. Nothing deadly, but it's allright.

Cool thx for the input... Im going to go ahead and add that to my checkout... I can only get a new laptop about once every 3 yrs and If I pay $1500 for a 11" laptop just for it to scratch itself I think I would curl up in a ball and cry like a lil b*%& lol..

You may still want to put something in between the keyboard and the screen when you close it. Remember that screen protector can get scratched too.

True I did not think about that.. The good part is screen protectors are a lil cheaper to replace.. I will probly use a peice of micro fiber or somthing most of the time but at the same time I dont want to worry myself to death if I forget my M11x diaper when im on the go

I just use the included cloth that is between the keyboard and screen... fits perfect and works fine.

Macbook Air got me. Apple displays and trackpads always got the best of me so I left the alienware area for portability and durability. TBH Although the m11x was the first alienware notebook I got I don't think I'll come back to it anytime soon, if ever. Just bad experiences with cust. service and the notebooks themselves. Never going to fall for dell/alienware again hopefully.
