    Alienware M11x Sound Problems

    Everytime I play music or any sound while I close to laptops lid the sound gets all choppy, same when I open it back up. I updated the latest audio driver from Dell's Drivers and still having the same problems.

    Can anyone help or have any suggestions?
    Other then that this laptop works fine.

    Have you tried reformatting your computer? Other than that I honestly don't have a solution. Sorry :confused:

    Yeah I did a fresh install of win 7 still no luck.

    Anyone having the same problems or is it just me?

    I have been having random glitches every now and then through the playback, but I still need to update my drivers. Could be a related issue?

    Send it back to DELL support ASAP....
    They have to repair it !
