    Hello forums,

I'm not sure if anyone here has any experience with this but I recently bought an iMac 27'' and enjoying it so far. Of course, most of my games and programs are on my beloved M11XR2 and I heard that you can use iMac screen as an external monitor given your PC has a display port or mini-display port output.

M11XR2 does have a display port output, and I bought the cable to connect the two Mini Displayport to Displayport Extension, VGA to Mini Displayport

However, neither of the computers seem to recognize one another, so I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with this. I heard some really old graphics cards do not actually support this but the one on M11X is a fairly new card.

I already posted on Mac forums, but I have a feeling I'll get my answer here as always :)
