    Alienware 11x R1 Overheats & Shut Off ?

    I been running games lately & Its overheats and shut off after awhile. I been playing Far Cry 3 & Civilization V .. They all run very good all on max setting no lag wat so ever but my computer just gets so hot and the FPS starts to drop. I also have my laptop over clocked could this be my problem ?

    Have you checked the vents? See if they need cleaning? If that doesn't work, you may need to re-apply new thermal paste.

    Download HWiNFO64. Run it in background and make it record to file. Once finished/crashed... upload this .cvs file here so we can thoroughly investigate.
