The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    AlienSense Login Window Blocky

    My AlienSense Face Recognition window only shows a really low res picture, my face still gets recognised, (partially due to me have a blocky shaped head I assume :D ) and I can log in, but its annoying. It used to display the picture fine.

    Using the Webcam in something like Skype produces a normal picture.

    Anyone seen anything like this before?

    OK, me being stupid, there's a'Blur' setting in AlienSense. Got switched on for some reason.
