This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    APPCRASH - Problem Signature

    Everytime I open hl2.exe (This includes any game that runs on the HL2.EXE - L4D, CSS, TF2, etc) for the FIRST TIME it crashes and I get this error (I attached a image of the error.) Under problem details it reads as follows:

    On a side note, I just did a reformat of the operating system, this problem is new and has never occurred before and I do not have any missing drivers installed and also the game runs perfectly the SECOND time its opened... (This is annoying though because I use ESEA Client to play video games I'm not sure you are familar with it but ESEA.NET)
