Along with performance loss (thread I made prior), I recently got an error on start up (before BIOS screen), about my AC adapter and how it's wattage cannot be predicted and so my battery may not charge and my laptop will work at the performance level of my AC adapters output. anyone have any ideas?

Probably time to get on the phone with Alienware/Dell.

Happened to me on my first M11X. Call dell, if it says the same thing over and over, then your battery probably is damaged. I used to get an error that said "Unable to charge." Can't remember the full error message but it was similar to what I said. Hope this helps. ;) Oh and rep me if it DID help.
