Hello all, I just outlived my warranty, so I decided to start OC'ing the m11x R1 I have. I was wondering what everyone's results have been with OCing?
I can run @core 600, shader 1400, mem 850 stable with some very slight tearing in 3d mark 06 on the canyon run. score: 6704. Ive played around with the memory a few times, and it causes some major tearing. Ive tried to bump the shader up and it kills the driver. I am not sure if I can up the core anymore, as I havnt checked it just yet. Been benching and testing all day so far.

Is this an average OC? better than average? or below par?

    Thanks!

So, after doing some more extensive testing with OCCT and 3dmark06, i found that im only really error free and stable at this:
    R1
    [email protected]
    A05 bios w/ .095v mod,
    driver: 275.33
    Core: 560mhz
    Memory: 870mhz
    Shaders: 1460mhz

thoughts on this? seem average or a little low?

edit: forgot: 3dmark06 score of 6655 with 0 tearing or driver shutdown

I would hope for more with all the changes. Not sure what others are getting with mods though. You have about 200pts higher than I do - what score did you start with?

Your base was lower by a bit so the gains are more. Nice

Im debating to see if I should upgrade to the newest Nvidia drivers, or just keep the 275 that I have at the moment. Will also be interesting to see what happens what I can get once I pinmod.

What has everyone's scores for GPU OC been?

Yeah, I do when I game, just not when I bench. I suppose I could do it and then bench to see the results.

Grr. this is frustrating. Even though OCCT says no errors, I play SC2 and after not even 5minutes I see tearing. Some guy, I cant believe what an awesome card you have

    im pretty lucky! :)

not really any skill involved... just luck of the draw.

i played with a R2 for about a week and sent it back because i could only get like 500mhz out of the 335. the CPU OCed like crazy for a i5 but with the slacking gfx OC it was kinda pointless. not to mention getting about 1.5-2hrs less battery.

im very happy with my R1. :notworthy:

So will i hopefully when i get one Soon if the world doesnt hate me too much ;) also hope lucky like you. What performance gain does the 2.0ghz pinmod give you? Whats a cpu intensive game you play that you get better performance in now than you did?
