Yeah so I have an m11x and I can't seem to find any way of turning the lights off on the skull on the lid. Is there any way to do it?

I'm thinking about cutting some red contact lenses for my lid alienhead out of taillight tape.

Don't see why one could not cut electrical tape to just cover the eyes and the ring around the alien head without covering the entire head.

It has actually already been done by a user from the inside of the lid. If you are brave enough, it sure makes it look nice. For the record, I just left mine as is. I do like the idea of contact lenses placed from the outside. :)

Believe it or not I had read far enough back in the forum that I saw the post where someone cracked the lid open to change the colors of the alienhead. But that seems risky and it would be another tear down to change the colors back or to another color.

If you took your time you could make a template of the eyes and ring around the head and change them out in just a few minutes. I have also seen packaging tape in a few different colors. Could be a fun thing to do to mess with other M11X owners that are not on this forum And imagine the fun you could have if you don't like them. ;)

Sure you can. Use duct tape.
