Ok, so my nvidia card went out, motherboard messed up but intel card works, so i ordered another motherboard. Well the guy sent me a r2 board, so finally he sent me the right one, and i tried both of them. Both give me 1 beep, then 4 beeps, and no screen at all. But i have lights on and stuff. I just tried the r2 board because i was pissed the other board wasnt working, i tried re doin the memory, switching them, everything like the other thread resolved and nothing. I then popped in the board with the bad nividia card, and it worked fine. is going on with this thing. Everything is connected correctly....sigh i want my laptop back up and running.

Just realised i got my title to say been instead of beep, im just tired from being stressed.

Ok now the weird thing. She hasnt shut off finally....but just like my old motherboard. She is not showing the nvidia card. This motherboard has one as well, i dont get it. Do i have some kind of virus or something not wanting to show the nvidia card on my hard drive or what. Gah just frustrated.

try with 1 ram stick, both of them couldn't have failed. Reinstall intel GPU drivers as they r required to get the nvidia drivers to install, better yet do a clean install on a spare HDD or something and go from there. Have your tried running bios diagnostics?

    EDIT: http://www.nullamatix.com/dell-diagnostic-beep-code-troublshooting-chart/

not sure if these r for m11x. also found:
    M11x - 4 Error Beeps on Startup / RESOLVED
Well after much anticipation i got my m11x and guess what. Power it on, 4 beeps and the screen never comes on. All the keyboard lights work but no LCD at all...

    Resolution was to reseat memory.

So if you ever power up and hear 4 beeps, reseat memory.

    Thanks,

    stevenX
