That is interesting! So that means this game is almost definitely blocking at the GPU level? Weird. Hopefully the resolve it.

Nah I reaaaally doubt this game is as heavy as Skyrim or BF 3, so, this is the game's fault, not the hardware's. They will probably fix this awful lag later, be with a new driver or with a game patch.

looking at the graphics the game does not look like it should be that demanding. I suspect the poor performance is due to being beta. Also suprised at the lack of graphics options. They only let you change ground clutter settings? strange. They should give control over shadows and such also. Probably will happen in a later beta build.

    Umm ok . Cool!

I really would be interested to see how you define "Flawlessly" tho.

I'm about to put up my playthrough vids - They were done on a massively overclocked liquid cooled 4gz Core i7 desktop, with two Radeon HD 6870s in Crossfire, and I wouldn't call Diablo 3 on *that* configuration flawless. Stutters as it loads in new scenery, wildly fluctuating frame rates etc etc - in fact everything you'd expect from a Beta.

Do you have the output of Fraps Benchmarking utility to show us what "flawless" meant for you, in terms of Frame Rate at least?
