Hey guys,
Just threw up a video of Diablo 3's latest beta running on the M11x. Enjoy!

Funny, I have d3 on my r1. Set to low settings I get the same fps as you are!
-
That is interesting! So that means this game is almost definitely blocking at the GPU level? Weird. Hopefully the resolve it.
-
played it on my m11x r3 i7 and ran perfect
-
no its cpu thats throttling the game. not gpu. or could be both. and the game isn't optimized either. hahaha
-
Nah I reaaaally doubt this game is as heavy as Skyrim or BF 3, so, this is the game's fault, not the hardware's. They will probably fix this awful lag later, be with a new driver or with a game patch.
-
calm down everybody, it's still a beta they will fix it
-
looking at the graphics the game does not look like it should be that demanding. I suspect the poor performance is due to being beta. Also suprised at the lack of graphics options. They only let you change ground clutter settings? strange. They should give control over shadows and such also. Probably will happen in a later beta build.

Froogle...Thanks for the Video!!..now I know I might have to upgrade my M11x R2 i5 for something better like the m14x. I'm kinda sad since the m11x wont run this game....
-
i repeat it runs it flawlessly on my m11x r3 i7

I really would be interested to see how you define "Flawlessly" tho.
I'm about to put up my playthrough vids - They were done on a massively overclocked liquid cooled 4gz Core i7 desktop, with two Radeon HD 6870s in Crossfire, and I wouldn't call Diablo 3 on *that* configuration flawless. Stutters as it loads in new scenery, wildly fluctuating frame rates etc etc - in fact everything you'd expect from a Beta.
Do you have the output of Fraps Benchmarking utility to show us what "flawless" meant for you, in terms of Frame Rate at least? -
-
he's just asking for some more info =) no need to get all huffy. a video would be great! besides, I am sure the rest of us would love to see a bit more of the game anyway
