nVidia users have it so easy...
has anyone with an ATI card squeezed an extra few Hz out of the laptop's display? i am particularly interested to hear from m5550/m5750 owners, or really anyone who's done it with an ATI card on the built-in display.

i have an m5750 with a newly upgraded HD4670 512MB and have tried a bunch of methods without any success. running Windows 7 x64, Catalyst 13.9 WITHOUT CCC. ToastyX's CRU doesn't seem to do anything even with his Pixel Clock Patcher. ATI Tray Tools Refresh Lock does nothing. I have yet to try RadeonPro, and then there's an old program called RefreshForce...

i haven't actually tried editing lower resolutions, as i am mainly interested in 1920x1200@64Hz. or 63Hz, or 62, or even 61!!! i can't unlock it at all!

    please, ATI cards only...

EDIT: was able to add resolutions using a registry edit: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=21972. only 60Hz ones work.
