    replacement ac adapter

    my adapter for my m9700 is done. and it says it needs an input of 19v 7.89a on the bottom of the computer. would any adaptor for an aurora m9700 work?

    As long as the AC adapter output corresponds to the input needed you should be fine.

    So all I need to worry about is the voltage and not the amps or whatever the a is.

    YES YOU DO. The amps need to be the same or higher. The voltage needs to be the same or at most .5 higher. NOT LOWER.

    To put it this way.....

    AMPS= SAME OR HIGHER. NOT LOWER
    VOLTS= SAME OR 0.5 HIGHER. NOTHING HIGHER OR LOWER.
