I ran out of space on my Steam dedicated hard drive and found out that this m17 supports raid 0? Is it worth the trouble to use raid 0. I have 2 seagate drives that are the same model and purchased at the same time. If I run a raid 0 will the drives merge giving me one huge drive? And how will I do it. Do I have to reformat and start fresh? Thanks for the help!

Yes, that is exactly what I did on my M17. You would have to back up your data and then restore it on to the striped RAID. I normally use Acronis for this type of thing. You would have to use the RAID controller to format the new array.

No need to use Raid, just use the junction workaround.
It works on an OS level so nobody (even you) will be able to tell the difference. Basically you move some of your Steam game files onto your other drive, and then create a junction folder in the original place. (that's a junction, not a shortcut, using the above linked method) -
