    overclock 7950 gtx?

    how can i overclock my 7950 gtx?Everytime i change a setting in msi afterburner it reverts to stock. I also cannot flash the bios on it as it is giving me a hierarchy miss match.

    You are in an alienware laptop forum, I don't know that msi afterburner will help you

    msi afterburner works on any gpu. I have used it on anything from xfx cards to dell oem cards to overclock them

    I never did much with overclocking a laptop card given how poor the heatsinks usually are at even keeping the stock temps down, but if afterburner isn't working for you, and neither is the Bios flash have you tried to see if you can force a bios flash? Also what notebook do you have? There may be cards you can upgrade to.

    its a m9750. I am getting a 3870 soon but i wanted to make the best out of the 7950 till then. i have tried the usual -4 -5 -6 straps in nvflash so idk how i would force a flash
