    Hello,
So when I start up my laptop the screen with the alien head comes up but does not get past this. Pressing F11 for boot menu and F12 for network boot do nothing and pressing F2 for system utilities makes Please Wait..... come up but nothing happens. I've tried to clear the CMOS and reseat the memory but nothing has worked. As anyone else had a similar issue? I've tried posting on the alienware tech forums but they suck. Please help my baby.

Sounds like a motherboard issue to me. You've already done what I would have recommended which is reseat the ram and pull the CMOS. But since it's a bit older try putting in a new CMOS battery and see if that might be the issue. Otherwise all signs point to motherboard being shot.
