Does anyone know the name of the small 3 pin connector that the alienware heatsink(fan) uses to connect to the motherboard?

Would like to know because my fan does does not start up or spin ever, so im looking to replace the fan.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

If I’m not mistaken, that’s just a basic 3pin laptop fan connecter. All laptop fans have them. So if you replace the fan, the new one will have one as well. Your issue might not be with your fan though. But go ahead and replace the fan first, its cheap and usually easy to replace.

They can get power by the blk & red wires and regulate fan speed by the yellow wire. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I was just wondering if this connector had a special name like others do (molex, sata). I will report back once I have tried a new fan :)
