I first apologize if this thread already exists.

I have run into the problem that my video card has gone for bust. I am currently experiencing error code 43 under windows device manager for my Nvidia Quadro FX3600M

I have unistalled and reinstalled drivers of all sorts having no luck(computer currently running on MOBO video card)

    1. Is there a different approach I should be attempting.

    2. Since I will more than likely need to replace it, what should I be looking at to replace it with, if not two since i have the space to implement a slave video card as well.

    Any help is appreciated.

For assistance specific to your pre-Dell, legacy Alienware system, you will have better luck posting in the Alienware Area-51/Aurora and Legacy Systems subforum.

I'm guessing the wrong forum, the m17x (emphasis on the small m) came with the option of 8800M GTX SLI or the Quadro FX 3600M.

Try asking in Alienware Area-51/Aurora and Legacy Systems mate, that's for the legacy Alienware systems.

Edit: bah, Tazalanche bet me to it :)
