hello fellow alienware owners, im having a few problems trying to locate a new screen for my laptop.

    i currently have a 1920x1200 display for my m17r1

im after a 1440x900 display instead, the reason behind it is my alienware laptop is no spring chicken any more, and i think in most games it struggles to run at its native resolution. any ideas where i can get a new one please? im located in the UK,
thanks a lot for the assist.

edit, also im after a new battery as well if you can help out. thanks again

No reason to down grade to a lower performance screen. Just adjust the resolution in the game in the game settings menu.

I agree as well. There is no need to downgrade the screen just play the games at a lower resolution.

Yeah man seriously don't downgrade the screen just play the games at lower levels like 720P or something similar to that. Upgrade/replace the parts if you need so, properly clean the machine and the fans!! Especially if it's overheating.
