Okay I'm fed up with this:

First of all, Hello all, secondly, I'd like to express myself on a problem that's been bugging me for almost two years (perhaps I just suck at researching)

Basically, my graphic card is stuck with revision 176.37, since I am forced to use the drivers from Alienware's website.

Thing that really pisses me off since the current driver revision is around 260 on NVIDIA's website.

Basically, what I'm trying to find is a driver that works on this goddamn laptop which possibly supports PhysX.

Sorry if I sound angry - I am

Please help me, I'm sure I'm not the only one facing this problem - am I?

    Again, sorry for sounding pissed.

First take a breathe, ok now go to the NVIDIA page and the drivers link. Search for Beta/Archive drivers. You want the 181 or 185 whql driver. Once installed go back to the NVIDIA search thr Physx page and you will find updated profiles. Once you have the 185 driver installed, and the latest Physx profile instaled you will have basicly the most up to date driver w/out all the bloat that we dont use like 3D.

    Physx Profile update
    NVIDIA DRIVERS 9.10.0513

    PS,
I believe nothing past 185 will work due to a BIOS and Drivers clash. But no worries your card will work great with a 185.

I believe 186.81 is the latest driver you can use.

Thank you, 186.81 seems to work so far, I'll do one last report for comparison.

    Thank you all again!

I am glad it worked, I can understand the frustration. Thats as high as you can go due to a drives/bios issue. Download the newest PHYSX driver and you will be close to what the new drivers offer.
