I picked up this m15x for cheap and it came with win 7 32 bit and no drivers. The keyboard led lights always stay pink/blue, nothing else. I installed all the vista 32 bit drivers and everything works but there is no alienfx. Any idea how to get it to work? Or is there another program I can use for changing the lights?

I think AlienFx is the only application you can use to change the light colours. Also if you dont have the software, try downloading it from dell drivers website. I am pretty sure you might have some luck over there. Also I have noticed that the alienware website also have some software and drivers for the old m15x.

Also after downloading and installing the software, if you still cant change colour, do the following:
    1) Shut down the laptop and remove the power cable and battery
    2) hold the power button for 20-30 seconds.
    3) Put back the power cable and battery and reboot
    4) Try changing the colours, it should work.
