I know I'm digging up dinosaur bones here. But I'm trying to ressurrect a d9k. Only cause I've wanted one forever. Never could afford one. Now they're old. And outdated. But the new system (yes cosmetics) don't appeal to me. I have a built desktop for speed and graphics. But I'm having a horrible time finding a d900k board. Yes I realize what I'm getting into. And what criticism associates. Simply just looking for a clevo d900k board . Working obviously . And a amd fx60, nvidia 7950gtx. I have two boards now from eBay. Both non working. Anyone can shed some good advice. Without sarcasm. Haha. Or know a good place to find these. Aside from eBay that I've scourged. And rjtech wants 480 for a board. About the only place I can find that does not say out of stock. Have not called ztronics directly. As theirs does say out of stock at a price of 180.
Anyone.
Thanks!

Have you tried Ztronics? Also if what you like is the look of the lid, have you looked into the thinner & newer m5750 / m5790 or the even newer m15x, m9750? The newer Core 2 Duo's in these models will slow you down a lot less than the d9k. But if that's what you want then I say go for it.

Haven't tried calling them yet. Plan to call ztronics and rjtech this week sometime. Ztronic website like I said shows out of stock. Obviously not surprised. Dinosaur bones here. And its the over all d9k that I like. Clevo. Whatever. But I guess what I'm really looking for. If anyone has one. Or happens to know where I can find the d900k mobo. That would be sweet. Otherwise I'm trying. Trying. To wait patiently for one to pop up on eBay. And an fx60/7950gtx. Thought out of all the people on this site/forums that someone may throw a bone. So we will see.

They have intel boards on ebay here Dont know if it would fit in your chassis though
-
Yes it would fit. That's a d900t board. Intel. The d900k board is amd. And dual core. The d9t are not to uncommon. But a dinosaur like d9k. Is proving to be a needle.

You might have to accept that you'll have to go with intel. The trouble with the AMD stuff tends to be that the chipset which goes with the AMD processor tends to fail far more than the ones which pair with intel. Henceforth why there are less AMD boards around - the others have all failed!

If you are an amd fan you could go for an original m9700, newer than the one you are looking for parts for
