    hi, i have an alienware m9700 and it has big black lines in the middle of the screen, i have asked around and been told the screen is broken, but i myself thought it was a problem with graphics card, which one is it likely to be? also how can i make it faster once screen is fixed?

    Assuming windows still detects it, you can find "device Manger" and under "Display adapters" it should list what you are using.
