    aliensense problems

    whenever i start aliensense face recognition login. it just says initializing but it never starts. idk what the problem is, alien command centre works perfectly (except for aliensense), webcam works great, nothing wrong, all drivers up to date, everything is recognized. any ideas?

    its an alienware area-51 m15x
    It has 150 gig hardrive
    nvidea 8800 graphics
    2.10 duo core
    windows Vista 64 bit
    2 gb of ram

    Are you using it on your original Alienware computer? The primary time that I've seen this in the past is when the licensing check fails which typically happens when someone is running the Command Center on a computer other than the one that it came with. If this is not the case, I'd recommend de-installing and re-installing the command center itself. Let me know the results and I'd be happy to help further.

    well, i installed this command centre off this website. idk is there a patch? aliensense works in command centre and allows me to choose the level of security and such, but when ever i log off and try to login using my face, the camera doesnt start. it says aliensense is initializing, but never manages to actually start up

    Do you have any other programs running that might be using the webcam? For example, do you have Skype set to auto-launch?

    yes i do. lol.....skype auto starts and is running all the time on the laptop ill try that now

    EDIT: i tried stopping skype, didnt work. all i have is skype and game booster on the computer and some games.

    You can try deleting the biometrics and starting all over again
