    Unusual Keyboard Problem - Area-51 M17x

    Hi all,

    I have two new keyboards, one AlienFX lit type 9J.N9182.B01
    and one non-lit type 9J.N9182.A01.
    Both show exactly the same fault when installed in my laptop, the fault being;
    When only the left Ctrl key is pressed, both the main Enter key and the left Ctrl key register as pressed.. at the same time.
    When the right Ctrl key is pressed, both the ' key and the right Ctrl key register as pressed... at the same time.

    I've cleaned and checked connectors and cables and all looks good (it's a new mobo).
    I've booted the machine off a DOS disk and the fault is still there.

    Does anyone have any KBC bios or main bios alternatives I could try (it's currently on 306), just so I can eliminate software from the equation?
