Hello, I recently started having problems with my graphic cards (2x Ati Mobility Radeon HD3870) while using Second Life, even with low graphics it freezes all the time. Any advice? Alienware told me they would update the drivers in myHive ages ago to work with Windows 7 but they never did.

try, official ATI drivers from AMD website, could be broken hardware (GPU) as well

Try downloading the latest ATi Catalyst drivers. They're compatible with the mobility cards.
If drivers don't work you might have to try an OS reinstallation. And if THAT doesn't work then you probably got one (or two) busted GPUs. -
Thank you, any suggestions on a good setting for the GPUs? Like High Performance or Quality etc... Also are there any other drivers or updates which you think I should install in order to improve performance?

gpu settings should remain in let aplication decide mode
and go download the oficial 10.6 catalyst mobility -
Thanks for your answers, sorry if I've been a bit slow to respond, Internet Access has become increasingly difficult now that I am in a second world country.
I downloaded the Catalyst suite, is there anything else, like a patch or program which I should instal? I think Alienrestore is disabled and the patch doesn't work. Also where can I get a recent version of the control center? (One that won't make my baby burst out in flames)
Running Smoothly on only 2GB RAM with an Alienware M17 (not M17x!)
