So after 2 months of not being able to fix my comp, they are refunding me the money that I spent on my M17, which I purchased a few months before Dell purchased alienware.
They sent me an email with my RMA number and want me to ship all items that where in the invoice for the M17. The problem is that in the invoce its just not the m17, it has the backpack that i purchased, wireless mouse, laptop cooler, car ac converter, tactx headset, and items that came with the laptop like a free hat, and sleeve. The issue is that I don't have the ac converter anymore( it's been 2 years since I purchased everything), and the hat, and none of their original boxes.
My question is do I have to send back everything in order to get the refund, or just the laptop, or can I send some of the items like the tactx headset which is not working on one hear and a bit broken on one hear hinge, with no box?

I'd recommend speaking with whoever is handling your escalation and explain the situation. Main thing they want is the notebook, AC Adapter, installation disks, etc.
They'll probably just credit you the machine instead of the machine + accessories, etc.
When they swapped my M17x for an R2 all I had to send was the machine, ac adapter, manuals/CDs and they were fine with it. It 'should' work for you as well. However, being upfront can only help you. -
thx, will have to call him till tuesday when he comes in, if thats the case.
