Okay, I once thought it was a problem with the GPUs but now I think it might be because of a lack of memory. Considering that I only have 2GB of RAM is it time to upgrage and will it prevent total freezes when starting certain applications? I am on windows 7 at the moment. Should I downgrade to Vista for better performance and driver support? Please tell me what to do! I want to be able to play SWTOR when it comes out.

Upgrading memory can increase performance and reduce how often certain errors occur, but 2GB should be enough to not have any issues with stability. It can be the ram is faulty, that is a possibility. You need to explain more your symptoms oh how it freezes (blue screen, no mouse movement, restart, etc.)

I had a m9750 and it didnt have any problems with 2GB ram. Provide us with more detailed information and maybe we can better help :)

I also had an M17 with 2GB of RAM. (Still got the M17, but not with that 2GB)
Upgraded it to 8GB a while ago, and it's a huge difference in general speed. Applications load faster, there's no freezing, and I can switch between programs without an issue.

4GB is plenty, but I think 8GB's come down in price enough for it to be worth it. But I'd definitely recommend upgrading, particularly if you want to play TOR, because if it's anything like other big MMORPGs it'll be heavy on the memory.

When I start EVE sometimes it freezes completely. If I unplug it it then crashes.

With games such as Fallen Earth I have so much stutter.

When I crank up my graphic settings most games will crash on me.
