    I powered up an old m5500i-r3 today with an Nvidia 7600go card and this is what the image is like..

    Am I correct in assuming that the memory on the card is probably at fault?

    Try pushing around the screen / palm of laptop to see if maybe its a lose connection, otherwise yes probably a bad card
