I have an Alienware M5500-R3(or M5550 I think is the correct term) and it refuses to power on. I was using it fine, told it to restart, and now it wont come back on. The power light is on, and the wireless light responds to the manual switch still. The scroll, num, and caps lock buttons all flash once on hitting the power button as usual. Then it just sits there. No BIOS start up, even with hitting F8 or F2. Adapter is plugged in correctly, and has power, alien head on the back of system lights also. Tried the unplug, remove battery, and hold power button to no avail. Pulled the CMOS back up battery and let it sit overnight, solid 12 hours atleast, still no change. Lights on, no one home. So any ideas or suggestions? Is the mobo most likely fried? Thanks
