Well as the tittle says its staying at max RPM even when in BIOS, sometimes if I lift the laptop up around the back corners it gets down to normal RPMs but sometimes (like now) it just stay at max RPM. What should I do?

NOTE: GPU temp have been in 38 and the fan is still at max RPM.

Have you tried a 2nd app to monitor temps? Just in case the first is not reading properly?

Yes tried it even with Ubuntu and all are giving the same temp. Right now I managed to get the RPMs back to normal (by lifting it around the back corners and putting it back down) but I really don't know why its going to max RPM.

I also assume you have done the basics and cleaned all dust out? Does your temp program monitor the actual RPM of the fan?

If not I am wondering if the fan is actually spinning faster OR if the bearing on the fan is going bad and just making the fan sound louder. The whole lifting thing would make sense too as the different angle would throw off the bearing some and perhaps is quieting it down.

When you lift it does it instantly quiet down or does it take a few seconds?

Yes I cleaned it. And its not just sound its going faster since I cann feel the air as when I'm gaming. Sometimes it quiet down, but it never do it instantly, also that doesn't always work. Funny thing is that I removed the heatsink and the motherboard battery for one full night and its back to normal so far.
