    M17 R1 motherboard in a M9750 ?

    The question is quite simple...

    since both designs are almost exactly the same, would a m17 R1 motherboard fit and work (I know CPU, RAM, GPU are different) in a m9750 computer, by that i mean the rest of the stuff :

    - screen/LCD connector,
    - optic drive connector,
    - HDD connector
    - keyboard + pad connectors

    etc...

    the sound card is diferent but with a little luck it's interchangable so it my or may not work you would have to try if you do so gives us a LOT of picture

    Wait, but the mobo itself looks like the exact same fittings right?

    what is so different with the sound card?

    the m9750 there are 3 3.5mm jack in the m17 there is only a mic and a hearphone jack with usb and optical they are just diferent card

    but the mobo plug might be the same

    on an other note if you pur the mobo in the m9750 chasis what hapened to your m17 chasis?

    I never received it, from a sale on this forum...

    It has been 2 months, i have to get my money back...

    so I might just look for a m17 motherboard...
