Hello Everyone,i have some question, hope someone can answer, here goes :

1.with 1 HDD,why we cannot install Intel Rapid Storage software?

2.i have upgarde 2 laptops, IBM X200,and M17,the X200 using corsair V32,the alienware using F60 also from corsair, and boot time with IBM a lot faster than the M17,I'm very confuse regarding the spec both laptops has,is it because i was able to install Intel Rapid Storage on my IBM?i notice the X200 it's faster after installing the intel rapid storage.

I hope someone can explain this,Thank You

it's possible that it require an intel ssd or raid/AHCI

cause atm i'm running a raid so that might be why but i really don,t se why it's doing this what version of the rst are you tying to instal

thanks to these genius who locked the bios so we can't set AHCI evne if the bios has the option

SSD's should always be set to AHCI in the bios...not to anything else.

I can't remember if the M17 bios has this option or not..been too long ago.
