I recently installed the latest command center software on an area-51 m15x during which the firmware was updated. During the install, all the lights went out (which I think is normal). However, when they came back on again the word "Alienware" under the screen stayed dark. I've tried changing the colour but nothing seems to work. Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix

Oh I've had that problem when I had my m15x. It was when I upgraded from Vista to 7 and boy was that a disaster. The only fix I came up with was reverting back to windows vista and even then my keyboard still wouldn't light up.
