    How to enable AHCI mode on Alienware M17 R1?
    My bios - Alienware M17 W840_029 zfactor VT MOD R2.
    Please help!

    My config - QX9300/8GB/Samsung 840 Evo 120Gb + Samsung 840 Evo 250Gb/ 3870x2/ Windows 7 PRO

    I dont believe there is any option to do this in the BIOS on the M17 - is there a specific reason you need it?

    I used ssd. TRIM not worked without AHCI(
