    Hi,

    Just wondered if anybody knew if or where i can get hold of a GTX 260M graphics card for my alienware. Its the older one so its type 2.1 HE.

    It's not worth doing this, the reason why is because the gains are very insignificant from a 9800m or a 8800m and you'll have a more difficult time booting up, and you will lose out on your ability to use the HDMI port on your PC. you're much better going off with a 9800m or 8800m or even 4850 from ATI.

    Or take it up a step and go to a 280m. MAKE SURE YOU GET A MXM 2.1 NOT 3.0 There was a store based in California that sold MXM GPU's and Clevo's that many people bought MXM 2.1 cards from, I'll try to pull the name for you.
