Guys, i have another issue. I've installed windows 7 on my area-51 m15x because I hate vista, and there seems like no alienware command center here. I have googling all around and couldnt find any command center that works with this machine. It seems the current command center doesnt support older system (in this case my area-51 m15x)..

i can definitely go back to vista but there is no CD with command center in them. Ever since i bought my area-51 m15x (november 2008) i've got only 2 DVDs, one of them is recovery DVD and another one is driver CD.

I have read a lot and people say you can just download command center from your hive/member area in alienware website. The thing is, i dont have any access to membership area in alienware website because I bought this laptop through a 3rd party distributor in my country (back then alienware had not officially entered my country yet.. now there is dell support for alienware but they only sell the latest alienware lineups). I have lost contact with that distributor. Well i still have his YM but i think he's been offline since months ago...

so anyone of you can give me access to old Area-51 M15X command center download link? And does it work with Windows 7 or only vista?

hey thanks a lot, but after installing my command center, it seems the "keyboard" light controller is missing. i can find alienhead, power button, light pipe, alienware name, quick touch controls, and touchpad there, but no keyboard. So basically the keyboard lighting is off.

I can actually manipulate this by activating "AuroraLightsFx" software that i've installed long time ago but every time I reboot the keyboard light automatically turns off again until I turn on auroralightsfx again. You have any idea? Oh btw from the link you gave me, the link to driver installation is not working.

Okay, do you have a link to a command center download for my area 51m laptop? It doesn't appear that I have one, and I can't find it anywhere in the computer.
