I picked up a couple of vintage Area 51's, one of them is an M7700. Wow was this thing beat. Looked like someone dragged it down the street on the top. Lots of scratches and gouges in the plastic. Anyway got it up and running with a fresh install of XP media center. I would like to take it back to it's original software to preserve it's Alienware personality. If any one has a copy of the Alienware Respawn CD/DVD's, there were three of them in the software kit I would be interested in copies.

Best of luck in your search. I only have software for the m5750/90 but I hope someone comes through for you! Did you check the wayback machine just in case any of it was archived?

Well I took a guess as to how it was setup as you can see in the video. There are a few Respawn's available on eBay that are Windows XP but there is no way of telling if it is for this particular laptop.

Might anyone know if these Respawn packages were generic and covered different Alienware models of the Day?
Anyway the laptop came out nice, the new paint job I did looks great. If anyone has an old Alienware laptop and the black skullcap design is tattered, I found that if you get a can of the spray rubber tool dip (Lowes) and give it a light coat it sticks to the ordinal rubberized coating and restores it nice.
Oh ya, ignore me in the video I kept calling 3Dmark Passmark LOL!

Good tip on the Plasti-Dip for fixing the peeling rubber
