    Hey everyone,
I'm trying to install windows 7 on this old laptop, but I'm having driver issues. I have the vista 64 bit drivers, but I need the windows 7 drivers.
I can't get into myhive because I'm missing some info( I have my account #).
Can someone post up these driver's? ( I believe a member Kingsmoth had posted 2 years ago)

You will be fine with the Vista 64 drivers. Vista & 7 run on the same Kernel

I understand that much, but why does my stealth mode not work at all? the hotkeys all work except for the stealth mode. the buttons light up, onscreen notification shows up, but no throttling from the stealth mode. ive tried vista 64, and win 7 64. maybe im not installing drivers in the right order? anyone remember that order for win 7 64?

I could be wrong but for the CPU throttling I think the chipset drivers are where you need to look. Have you tried a tool like CPU-Z to see if the CPU is throttling itself down regularly when idle? Or is it always running 100%?

I have not tried cpuz, but cpu ildes fine while browsing the web etc and kicks into gear when gaming and then back to idle when i stop gaming.
I did use gpuz to see if by pressing ' stealth mode' the GPUs would throttle down. 8700gt in sli remain at max clocks.

My temps stay in the mid 50s.
    Here are my specs:
    A51 m17x r1
    Win7 64
    Samsung 830 ssd
Crucial 2x2 ram ddr2( brand new)
    Intel c2d x9000
Nvidia 8700gt sli( verified working in NCP)
327.** driver works fine( played batman AA last night)
    Delta 230w AC adapter
    Vista 64 bit drivers
    I'm not using command center
    Everything repasted with ic7

Maybe that would help for anyone with any ideas.

What tool are you using to view the CPU multiplier to see if it is at idle properly?
