    Anyone tried ATI Catalyst 10.6 on their M17 yet?

    ATI Catalyst 10.6 Announced!

    Just curious if anyone has tried out the 10.6 drivers on their M17 yet and if they install correctly or not. I think I'm still running 10.2 at the moment, but from what I read there are some changes for 3xxx series mobility cards to improve video playback.

    I'm about to install them, upgrading from 10.5. Not sure if it'll have any performance difference but I like to stay up to date.

    Do they require you to MobMod them first or do they install correctly with the ATI installer (either 10.5 or 10.6)?

    Yeah, they support mobile cards now. I haven't bothered to install them yet though.

    Well I just ran the installer and it definitely did not do anything. Still on Catalyst 9.9.

    I ran the installer and it did install it, but I've reverted back to 9.9 anyways. Maybe I'm alone here, but I have yet to find the 10.x drivers provide the same stability and performance as the 9.x releases.
