My issue seems to be a little different than what I've read on other posts.

I purchased an m9750 understanding it had bad video. I planned to bake the GPU's or replace them.

But I only get a black screen 1/10 times. If I unplug and plug the power in before power on it will start perfectly %100 of the time. I cannot understand how unplug/replug has any relevance to the screen?

Also, when it boots to black/dead screen, Windows starts and chimes in the background. External monitor is in sync with the laptop screen's actions (black together or they work together.)

Fresh Vista installed. Fresh most updated drivers installed. Everything else runs without incident. CPU and GPU's running around 58 degrees celsius.

I'm about to pull the whole system apart. I'm just looking for some extra advice for what to look out for.

Before I reinstalled Vista and fresh drivers the black screen would come up more often than not 9/10 times probably. So drivers and vista def. helped, but it's not in selling condition yet.
