    Alienware area 51 m15x power proplem

    Hi everyone.
    I have alienware area 51 m15x the proplem i get is to power on.
    Before 6 months for some reason didnt go on.
    Battery whas full.I press the start just go on and of after a second.
    I put it back to the box.
    After 2 months i try to check it again.
    I press the button start just fine.
    For 4 months work just fine.
    2 days ago again got the sane proplem.
    Dont know what is wrong.
    Press the start button just go on and of.
    Can some one please tell me what is wrong with it?

    try holding the right mouse button on the track-pad to power on the system... after a few seconds it should come on.

    does it start fine then?

    Might be a bad GPU, is it an 8600m?

    Is a M15X NVIDIA 8800M-GTX 512MB
    When on before 5 days.Just press and start.
    But is strange.What can i say.
    Happend 7 months ago and a week ago.
    Any advise?
    Is any hardware test so can check my system?

    Can you run furmark for a while, then also run ATItool and use it to scan for artifacts?

    I think it might be the GPU.

    After run Atitool for 16 minutes no error found.
    The furmark after 30 minuites the departure when to 85.

    Maybe re-seat the ram and run memtest.

    If that doesn't help, I would re-seat the CPU, GPU, HDD and leave the CMOS battery out for a while.

    Might as well update the BIOS, probably wont help but it wont do any harm.

    I did remove the rams and HDD.Bios is x36.I will run memory test.
    Is any software that can check all my hardware please?
