    Hi folks,
First off i just wanna say this site, and it members have been a tremendous help with all the knowledge shared on the boards. There is one thing i cant figure out though. I need to download alienFX for an m17x R1. Long story short, i was basically willed this laptop from a friend that passed away in Afghanistan last year. I did a fresh install from the recovery dvd, but the issue i am having now is that the driver cd is badly damaged, and i cant get the command center to install. So now i have no lighting anymore  Since the CD dont work, i have no access to his Hive account to get the software. I tried to download another version of CC but the only options it gives me is Fusion, Sense, and Touch. Any help would be very much appreciated

    Windows Vista x86
    AW Command Center 1.0.17(broken cd)

Thank you very much for the prompt reply, would you advise going with a newer version of CC? i am having a heck of a time trying to find one for 32bit vista, and the one that i did find doesnt have the lighting option in it, there is another thread on that issue that im currently reading up on.

I'm speaking for the m15x as I own one but it might be the same for you. The general consensus is to NEVER restore the CC from the CD. You might try the AuroraLightsFX created by findvikas it's a custom software (can't say much about it, I've not tried it yet).
